For the city in China, see Anyang Anyang (안양, 安養) is a city in the southern part of Gyeonggi Province, and one of the satellite cities of Seoul. It serves as the central hub of the Anyang region, which also includes Gunpo and Uiwang. Once known as a major industrial city, it has since shifted toward a knowledge- and service-based economy.
