You can see many typical two-story red brick houses, and they form the old town's view distinct from Bundang and Pangyo. It has one of the largest traditional five-day markets, Moran Market. You can easily visit a UNESCO World Heritage site, Namhansanseong in the area.
This area was developed in the 1990s, and apartment building complexes were built along Seongnam-daero. You can see many well-organized parks and streams, and 90s-style apartment buildings and malls in this area.
This area was developed in the 2000s, and many tech companies, such as Kakao and NC Soft are headquartered. You can see cutting-edge business buildings and elegant shopping malls in this area.
This area was developed in the 2010s for apartment complexes. The area is shared by three cities: Seoul, Seongnam and Hanam, and it is located in the northwest of Seongnam.
By subway
Seongnam has two three subway lines: Metro 8 Line, Bundang line, and Shinbundang Line.
By bus
If you want to visit Bundang or Pangyo from Seoul, taking express buses is also recommended. Because Wirye doesn't have a subway line crossing the area, you need to take a bus to get around the area.
