Eastern New England is the eastern part of the New England region in New South Wales, covering the local government areas of Armidale, Glen Innes and Tenterfield, mostly along the New England Highway (A15) corridor. Large parts of the region are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Gondwana Rainforests of Australia.
NSW Trainlink trains connect Sydney to Tamworth, Walcha Road (for Walcha), Uralla and then terminate in Armidale, the southern most point of Eastern New England.

Washpool National Park is a New South Wales national park in the Eastern New England region along the Gwydir Highway. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia.
