Millburn is a prime example of a peri-urban suburb area. You can see the different types of houses there, ranging from Georgian to COVID-era. It’s where much of the super-rich bought their houses, and where many Chinese and Indian immigrants who work in gold-collar jobs helped gentrify certain neighborhoods in cul-de-sacs in Short Hills and South Mountain.
