In the eighth year of King Injo's reign (1630), when rain broke out on the teacher's house, which was two square kilometers away, the king granted him a new house. In the ninth year of King Hyojong's reign (1658), a shrine was built and a signboard called 'Chunghyeon Seowon' was received, but the seowon was later demolished. It is said that the building of Gwangamdang, a love house, was built in 1916 on the old house site, built the main building in the following year, and built the new building in 1940.
