Gokseong (곡성, 谷城) is a county in Jeonnam-Gwangju Special Metropolitan City, South Korea. Situated along the Seomjingang River, it is known for its rural scenery, mountains, temples, and railway heritage. One of its main attractions is Seomjingang Train Village, where visitors can ride a replica steam locomotive along a former railway line beside the river.

도림사

The main town around Gokseong Station is relatively small, but many tourist attractions are spread throughout the county.
