변산해수욕장
One of the oldest established bathing beaches in Korea, opened in 1933. The long, gently sloping sandy beach is backed by pine trees and is a popular place for summer swimming and seaside walks. Its relatively shallow water makes it attractive to families, although visitors should check tides, weather and designated swimming zones before entering the sea.
서해낙조
The most celebrated of the Eight Sights of Byeonsan. This name means 'Sunset Glow over the West Sea,' referring to the grand and spectacular sight of the sun setting over the West Sea, dyeing the ocean red. The view of the sun sinking behind islands like Gogunsan Archipelago and Wido is magnificent. Sarang-ui Nakjo Park near Byeonsan Beach is the most renowned spot for viewing this sunset.
변산반도 국립공원
Byeonsanbando National Park is located in Buan-gun, Jeollabuk-do, and is the only peninsula-shaped national park in Korea that harmonizes both mountains and sea. It is divided into Naebyeonsan and Oebyeonsan. It is particularly famous for its beautiful sunset over the West Sea.

직소폭포
The undisputed star of inner Byeonsan, this is the magnificent, 30-meter waterfall that plunges vertically into a deep, emerald pool called Jiksobo. The surrounding valley, complete with clear streams and the legendary Fairy's Bath (Seonnyeotang), makes it a true mountain sanctuary.
