Korhogo is the capital of the Savanes District a city in the northern part of the Côte d'Ivoire, also known as the Northern Savanna. Several of the UNESCO World Heritage Sudanese-style mosques of Côte d'Ivoire are in the district or nearby.

Very good Moroccan restaurant.
Different room categories, from 10000 CFA. A quiet place away from traffic noise. The rooms upstairs around the courtyard are nice. The restaurant serves Ivorian food.
There are bus connections operated by different companies to several other Ivory Coast destinations, and bush taxis run to surrounding villages.
