Santa Caterina di Pittinuri

This church is associated with an ancient village and a priory of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem, documented from the mid-14th century; its current façade displays 18th-century features, including a gabled roofline and a small bell-gable.

A Spanish tower dating back to the second half of the 16th century, belonging to the category of medium-sized towers known as "senzillas." It is distinguished by its distinctive truncated-conical and cylindrical shape.

Rocky cove with white limestone cliffs, where you can also swim and dive.

SUP and canoe rental, canoe and/or SUP excursions to explore sea caves, and assistance.

Installed during 2021, it is freely available to anyone.

During the summer, shows and concerts by local artists, both Sardinian and otherwise, take place here.

Second Sunday of May. On Saturday evening, in Cuglieri, the statue of the Saint is placed on a cart that, the following day, is pulled by oxen to Santa Caterina di Pittinuri, where the faithful welcome it by scattering rose petals along the main street. The statue is accompanied by horsemen, a band, and a small procession of people who, upon arriving in the village, participate in the mass in honor of the Saint in the church of the seaside village. The following day, the statue is brought back to Cuglieri.

• The religious rites are followed by civil celebrations in the amphitheatre (Piazza Centro Servizi), with concerts on Saturday and Sunday evenings and children's games.
