A unique museum housing interesting artefacts from the Sahyadri (Western Ghats) and Gondhwa regions of Maharashtra.
The National War Memorial is an 8 m stone pillar dedicated to post-Independence war heroes. A garden surrounds it and has paved pathways. The memorial was funded entirely by the citizens of Pune, under the sponsorship of the Express Citizens' Forum. The foundation was laid in November 1997 and inaugurated in October 1998.
It has a collection of regional plants, including rare trees and flowers.
