North Hyderabad or Secunderabad (Telugu: సికింద్రాబాద్ Sikindrābād, Urdu: سکندر آباد Sikandar Ābād) is the twin city of Hyderabad, north and east of the Hussain Sagar. Despite being a part of Greater Hyderabad, Secunderabad has its own history and culture, separate from Hyderabad. The roads are better maintained and broader, with nice parks, open spaces like the parade ground, and some excellent restaurants.
