A fair-sized resort dominated by British tourists. At one end of the beach is the "Canal de l'Amour": sand stone cliffs with narrow inlets, a natural archway and small paths to explore.

Perched dramatically on a sheer cliff above the northwest coast of Corfu, Angelokastro is one of the island’s most important Byzantine fortresses. Built as early as the 5th–7th centuries, it formed part of a defensive network and was never conquered despite repeated sieges. The ruins crown a rugged peak near Paleokastritsa, offering sweeping views across the Ionian Sea. Access involves a steep but rewarding climb from the nearby village of Krini.
