A narrow stony beach with relatively calm waters. The resort runs along the road so there's a good variety of shops and tavernas.
Perched dramatically on a sheer cliff above the northwest coast of Corfu, Angelokastro is one of the island’s most important Byzantine fortresses. Built as early as the 5th–7th centuries, it formed part of a defensive network and was never conquered despite repeated sieges. The ruins crown a rugged peak near Paleokastritsa, offering sweeping views across the Ionian Sea. Access involves a steep but rewarding climb from the nearby village of Krini.
