毛泽东同志旧居
Mao stayed here with his family in 1927 while carrying our revolutionary activities in Wuhan. The building was demolished in 1957 and rebuilt 10 years later. It is now a branch of the Wuhan Revolution Museum. This was not Mao's only residence in Wuhan. Another one can be found near the East Lake (see listing below).
中共五大会址纪念馆
It was built in 1918 as a primary school. From 1922 to 1927, it was home to Chen Tanqiu, one of the founding members of the Chinese Communist Party. The Party held its fifth congress here from April to May 1927. The building is now a branch of the Wuhan Revolution Museum and has exhibits about the early history of the Party. The hall where the congress was held has been restored to appear as it did in 1927. Chen Tanqiu's room has received similar treatment.
