Fuqing Overseas Chinese Museum

A scenic mountain park close to the city.

Liem Sioe Liong (1917-2012) was born in a village in Fuqing. He migrated to Indonesia in the 1930s and later became a highly respected business person and philanthropist in that country’s Chinese community. This memorial hosts exhibitions on not only Liem Sioe Liong but also other prominent overseas Chinese entrepreneurs who originally hailed from Fuqing.

Best known for its rafting river, the ‘No. 1 Rafting River of the East’ (东方第一漂流). The park also has walking trails.
