Catholic parish.
370-acre outdoor regional recreational tourist site, developed on a former Ministry of Transport sand pit. This site includes an area of protected natural environments and a recreational area. Its creative summer facilities are: gazebo, swings, walking paths, lighted sports fields (soccer, baseball, pétanque) and a very large free play area. The winter recreational facilities are: belvedere, ice rink for free skating (lit in the evening), snow-covered sliding slope, hiking trails, snowshoe trails and cross-country ski trails. This site, which has a reception chalet, was acquired in 1982 by the town of Saint-Amable. The protected natural environment is the only connectivity link between the northern and southern portions of the Bois de Verchères; it is a component of the Mont Saint-Bruno forest corridor.
