Artifacts reflecting the rich and varied history of Saskatchewan. Tom Sukanen was a Finnish-born sailor, farmer and Canadian. He built a sea vessel to enable his permanent return to his homeland.
The Sukanen Ship Pioneer Village and Museum is located south of the City of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada, on Highway 2. It has many displays of life on the Canadian Prairies, including many historic buildings that have been moved from surrounding communities, set up to mimic that of a small farming town from the early 1900s to 1930s.

Two-hour tours through the underground tunnels. The Chicago Connection tour covers the Al Capone era and bootlegging in the 1920s. The Passage to Fortune tour explains the Chinese immigrants and the head tax. Far from being simply a set of exhibits, the two tours are in fact interactive theatre productions where visitors interact with actors. Be sure to book in advance.
Casino Moose Jaw has over 200 slot machines, and table games. It is surrounded by 20 murals and décor inspired by the Roaring Twenties.
An educational facility dedicated to the conservation of Burrowing Owls and their prairie home.
