Montmagny is a town on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River, in the Chaudière-Appalaches region of Quebec, Canada. The city is known for its annual Snow Goose Festival in October. Thousands of snow geese flock to the city each year. They have inspired the names of several hotels, restaurants, and streets in the city. Montmagny is also a great place to watch shorebirds. The city is home to one of the province's 28 migratory bird sanctuaries.
