Oberon is a small town in the western falls of the Blue Mountains region of the Australian state of New South Wales.

A privately owned cool climate garden with colourful flowers and quirky sculptures.
A small local history museum that contains a plethora of artifacts and models of what the early 20th century was like in the region, including a 3D model of 1930s-Oberon (though it's not very large by most means).
Ph 02 6336 3136 or 0407 276 023. This farm-stay guesthouse is about 10 minutes drive outside Oberon. Rates for two people are $220 per night (bed and breakfast) or $375 per night (all meals).
From Sydney, drive west along the Great Western Highway (A32) via Katoomba and Lithgow. Just before you reach Lithgow, turn left onto TD1 Jenolan Caves Road and continue until Duckalmoi Rd junction.
