A nice secluded beach, often rarely crowded meaning on most days you get the beach to yourself. There is also a boat ramp available at the north end of the beach into a small river adjacent to the beach.
Carmila is 101 km south of Mackay – simply head south for an hour and turn left onto Music St. Do make sure to use navigation as the signage to the town is rather poor and very easily missable.
