Paraguay national parks

Paraguay has 15 national parks. The national parks of Paraguay protect and preserve the wildlife and national resources of the country. Travelers who visit the parks can enjoy scenic beauty and recreational activities. They may also observe a great diversity of flora and fauna in their natural environment.
UnderstandParks are administered for the federal government by the Sistema Nacional de Áreas Protegidas del Paraguay (SINASIP), under the authority of the Secretary of the Environment (Secretariat del Ambiente, SEAM).
Biosphere ReservesParaguay has two biosphere reserves, both of which are part of the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves.
