North Sea Trail

The North Sea Trail is a hiking trail through the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway. The trail has a theoretical total length of about 4900 km, but so far only about 3700 km have been developed.
UnderstandIn some sections the trail uses existing coastal trails, and any markers on the ground may use that local name rather than North Sea Trail.
WalkAberdeenshire is one of the partner regions that maintain a leg of the trail. It follows the beach from Cullen through Fraserburgh and Peterhead to Montrose.
