Golf in Argentina

Golf is a well-established sport in Argentina. It has more than 300 courses according to Asociación Argentina de Golf the governing body. Argentina is a huge country with several climate zones, so the optimum playing season varies. Buenos Aires is best between September-April, while in chilly Patagonia it's October-March.
UnderstandThe top tournament is the Campeonato Abierto, the Argentine Open, first played in 1905 and hosted by Nordelta GC in Buenos Aires.
