An impressive sandstone formation that characterizes the park, known for its colors, patterns and shape. However, due its frail environment and high demand, advance permits are required, done through a lottery system. (BLM map)
A hard to reach patch of picturesque sandstones. The grey rocky cover layer is sometimes just a few cm thick. The structure makes the area look like enormous marble cake covered by a sugar icing.
