Nearest mountain cabin. The old cabin was used by the mining company and can still be used, but there is also a modern one. There are remains of the mining activity in the surroundings. Running water and electricity. Shared bedrooms, own linen. Unmanned: you need the DNT key unless there are other people here.

Operated by STF. Also known as Konsul Persson’s cabin, as it was built because of his daughter (beds are original, smaller than modern standard). Konsul Nils Persson was the industrialist who founded the Sulitjelma mines. By the cabin is a glacier lake with a sandy beach, and a waterfall. Information from STD and DNT differs, check what services to expect (manned? is there food for sale? firewood?).
