Shiraoi (白老) is a town in Iburi, Hokkaido. Shikotsu-Toya National Park on the west side of town.

Complex for the culture of Ainu. National Ainu Museum, shops, restaurants and food court, and some activities.
Scenic Pacific coastline near Shiraoi, with rocky shore, cliffs and small beaches. The area has archaeological importance, with evidence of prehistoric human occupation.
A 44-metre waterfall in the forested hills west of Shiraoi. A short trail leads through the forest to viewpoints of the falls, making it a worthwhile excursion for those exploring the area's natural attractions.
A remarkably clear, almost perfectly circular volcanic lake east of Shiraoi. Surrounded by forest and volcanic mountains, it is one of Hokkaido's most scenic caldera lakes and lies close to Noboribetsu.
A 1,322-metre mountain on the border of Shiraoi and Date. A popular hiking destination with a demanding trail through forest and mountain terrain, rewarding climbers with broad views across southern Hokkaido.
Small Shinto shrine in Shiraoi associated with the local fishing community and the worship of the sea deity Shiogama.
