By train
JR Soya Main Line runs through in the city from Asahikawa to Wakkanai. Limited Express "Soya" and "Sarobetsu" from Sapporo to Wakkanai, they stop the Shibetsu Station.
By bus
Highway bus service "Highway Nayoro" (高速なよろ号), it runs through from Sapporo to Nayoro with 4-5 round trips per day. About 3 hr and ¥2650 fare from/to Sapporo.
By car
Hokkaido expwy runs from Sapporo to Shibetsu-Kenbuchi IC. There are plans to extend Nayoro.
By bus
Shibetsu Kido operates local bus service in the around Shibetsu. There is also a Shibetsu Hire office in front of the station.
