The Ozarks in Arkansas are part of the Ozarks mountains, as well as being considered a region in north-central Arkansas and southern Missouri.

In southwest Missouri has a fresh water steam with trout fishing, camping and hiking.
A long distance that runs over 218 miles through the Arkansas Ozarks and Boston Mountains. From south to north, it passes near Oark approximately 5 miles to south, and through the Buffalo National River area.
A National Recreational Trail that runs over 225 miles through the Missouri Ozarks, with spurs totalling 350 miles. From south to north, it goes from the Eleven Point National Wild and Scenic River area, passes 5 miles to the east of Van Buren, through the Ozark National Scenic Riverways area, to Johnson Shut-Ins State Park.
The best way to get around is to drive. You will also get a good fill of the scenery driving the hills of the Ozarks.

Springfield is the third largest city in the state of Missouri, with a population of more than 168,000, and more than 462,000 (2019) in the metro area. It is also known as the Queen City of the Ozarks, and the birthplace of Route 66.
Buffalo National River in northern Arkansas is an unpolluted and free-flowing river in the heart of the Ozarks. It has both swift water and calm stretches on its 132 mi (212 km) course.
Mark Twain National Forest is in Southeast Missouri. The forest is 1.5 million acres through 29 southern and central Missouri counties and is known for its rivers and trails.
Ozark National Scenic Riverways in Southeast Missouri has 80,000 acres (324 km²) home to abundant animal and plant species. Canoeing is the most popular activity, with some 1.3 million visitors coming to the area each year.
