By train
Nonoichi can easily be reached by using the local train. The train station is in the northern part of Nonoichi. Coming from Kanazawa, it costs only ¥190 (for adults) or ¥90 (for children).
By bus
Buses run from Kanazawa to Matto. Get on the bus at the Kanazawa Train Station and it will cost about ¥370 per person to get to central Nonoichi.
Walking and biking
Kanazawa is so close to Nonoichi that you can easily ride your bike or walk into town if you desire. Bikes can be rented from the Kanazawa Station if interested.
