Mukdahan (มุกดาหาร) is a city and province in Isaan.
Saigon Kitchen
During the wars in Indochina in the 1950s through the 1970s, many Vietnamese fled the country and settled in Mukdahan. Although they took Thai nationality, the food they cook remains Vietnamese. Krua Saigon is reputed to be the best Vietnamese restaurant.

There is no airport in Mukdahan. The nearest airport is over the border in Savannakhet, but that airport only has flights to Vientiane.
