Kungsbacka is in the north of Halland on the west coast of Sweden. The municipality of Kungsbacka has around 74,000 inhabitants and the city has around 10,500 inhabitants.

From the Landvetter and Gothenburg City airports, the airport bus to Gothenburg (going directly from the airport building, ticket by creditcard from driver) and then train is preferred.
