Hopkins is a small village in Stann Creek in Belize with a long beach and access to the Belize Barrier Reef for snorkeling and diving, garifuna drumming, and nearby nature parks.

Four cabanas (big and small) by the beach. Run by Greg and Rita, Hopkins Inn is one of the oldest hotels in Hopkins. Breakfast included.
If you plan to stay in the jungle but relatively close to Hopkins and Dangriga (12 miles away) you can stay at this spacious jungle resort located inside the Mayflower Bocawina National Park. The accommodation goes from budget to deluxe.
By car
Get to the Southern Highway. The turn off for Hopkins is at mile 10. The gas station is 5 miles (8 km) south at Sittee River.
By bus
Buses going south to PG or Placencia drop passengers off at the junction of the Southern Highway and the road to the town.
By air
Fly to Dangriga. Once there you'll need to arrange a ride to get to Hopkins (your hotel or guest house can arrange a pickup).
