DoGreat Missenden is in the heart of the Chilterns and so is the starting point for a number of brisk local walks, of varying difficulty.

LearnMissenden Abbey runs courses and weekends for adult students in conjunction with Bucks New University (in High Wycombe). These tend to be booked up fairly quickly.
