Eastern Arizona is part of the state of Arizona, in the United States of America. It is a complex region of remarkable cultural, geological and scenic diversity despite its sparse population.

Holbrook is a town on Route 66 in the Mogollon Rim in Eastern Arizona, once known as the "town too rough for women and churches." The town makes a convenient base for visiting Petrified Forest National Park.
Globe is in the Mogollon Rim in Eastern Arizona. Globe was founded in 1875 as a mining town, and still is dependent on mining.
Sierra Vista (Spanish: Mountain View) is a city in Southeast Arizona and the commercial hub of the region, making it a convenient base from which to explore the area. It is perhaps best known for historic Fort Huachuca, established in 1877 during the Apache Wars.
Tombstone is a former mining town in Southeast Arizona. Along with Deadwood, South Dakota, Tombstone was America's most storied town in the wild frontier days.
Chiricahua National Monument is one of the more remote units in the National Park system in Southeast Arizona. Once called 'the land of standing up rocks' by the Chiricahua Apaches, it is most famous for its unusual stone hoodoos, which beckon the hiker and photographer.
