Highway 180 connects to Villahermosa to the west and Campeche to the north east.
By bus
Ciudad del Carmen is accessible from a number of cities through the ADO bus line. First-class fares to Cancun are M$570, and fares to Campeche are M$318-498, to Villahermosa M$184-328
Taxis are plentiful with a price about MX$50 within town, also there are colectivos (MX$7) and city buses (MX$8) on fixed routes (2025 March). InDrive is also available.
