Palatul Comunal
The headquarters of the city hall and the local council was built between 1899 and 1903. The palace is a flamboyant creation, in a very particular style that combines neo-Romanian elements, partly rendered in an Art Nouveau matrix, with local architectural motifs inspired by those found in the houses of merchants or boyars from Buzău, as well as decorative forms that refer to the vine, symbolizing an important component of the area's economy.
Biserica Banului
Its architecture is specific to the 16th century, in the style of monasteries in northern Moldova.
