Mountain Creek is famous for its skiing in the winter time and it's "water park" in the summertime. 167 skiable acres, 1,000 vertical feet across 4 interconnected peaks, 50 trails of mountain biking, zip-lines over mountain-top lakes and a waterpark. An all-season resort operated by the Intrawest corporation.
Vernon is accessible from NYC via rt 287, to rt 23, to rt 515, which will place you right in the heart of town. NJTransit also services Vernon and the surrounding hamlets by bus.
