Van Buren State Park is a public recreation area in Hancock County, Ohio, in the United States. The state park covers 296 acres (120 ha) abutting the southern boundary of the village of Van Buren and offers camping, hiking, bicycling and other recreational activities.

Van Buren Schools has a variety of sports teams that play as the Black Knights. Sports include Football, Baseball, Soccer, and Basketball.
The historic village square is easily walkable, and has some quaint architecture.
