Brevard County is on the east coast of Florida. Because of the presence of spaceports like Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Center, where the manned missions to the moon and the Space Shuttles are based, Brevard County is also known as the Space Coast.
By car
Brevard County is over 70 mi north to south, and not very wide. To the west are large unpopulated areas of the St. Johns River, marsh, swampland and ranches.
By bus
Greyhound and Flixbus traveling on I-95 between Miami and Jacksonville stop only in Rokledge while those from Orlando go into Melbourne and Titusville.
By taxi
Private taxi companies are listed in the phone books. However, attractions in Brevard County are often far apart (the county is narrow, but over 70 mi long from North to South), so the miles add up.

Titusville is a city of 49,000 people (2020) along the Indian River in Brevard County, East Central Florida.
