The Capitol Hill Block Party is an annual three-day music festival and block party held each July in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, United States. Performance genres include pop, R&B, indie rock, punk, EDM, and many more. The festival has featured numerous famous acts over the years including Macklemore, Mudhoney, The Presidents of the United States of America, Jack White, Sonic Youth, Lizzo, RL Grime, and Amine. The festival has attracted several major brand sponsorships and even created a donation program for several non-profit organizations. The main events of the festival are located on Pike Street and Pine Street, however, the crowds and foot traffic branch out into more of the neighboring streets, causing friction with nearby businesses and residents. Although the festival is largely known for its musical performances, the block party also includes free events, such as yoga and a skate competition, located at the Cal Anderson Park.

SAAM
An offshoot of downtown's Seattle Art Museum, SAAM displays a portion of the permanent collection balanced with rotating, consistently well-curated special exhibitions. The Art Deco building (the Seattle Art Museum's original home) is an attraction in its own right.
A small private collection of modern art with rotating contemporary exhibitions. Parking is always available and the place is worth a visit.
A very popular park on sunny days. It includes a signature fountain and pond, a basketball court, tennis and softball fields, and a playground. Great for peoplewatching, and you can often see groups of people doing activities varying from hackeysack to drum circles to freeze tag to bike polo to twirling around with colorful scarves.
Incorporated in 1872, Lakeview Cemetery is set on a hillside with views of Lake Union, the Cascades, Lake Washington and the Olympic Mountains. The site holds the final resting places of Seattle's first families, many with diverse backgrounds. Many come to pay tribute at the graves of Bruce Lee and his son Brandon.
