Held every third Thursday a viewing of the various downtown art galleries in downtown San Angelo free trolley service is available
Open established in 1867 to protect frontier settlements and in 1889 the last soldiers left and it was deactivated, now a historic preservation project and museum. The museum is open from 9AM to 5PM Monday through Saturday and from 1 to 5PM Sunday. Admission is $3, adults; $2.00, military and senior citizens; and $1.50 for children 6-17.
