The Pico Rivera Historical Museum was created in 1992 and offers a collection of pictures, documents and exhibits in what used to be the Santa Fe Railway Station, built back in 1887, having been relocated from its former location back in 1974 to its current address.
The Pico Rivera Sports Arena was built next to Bicentennial Park in 1979 in dedication to Pico Rivera residents who served the United States during every war up to the Vietnam War. Sitting around 6,000, it is said to be the largest Mexican-style rodeo ring "Rancho de Charro" in the country. It hosts about 25 shows annually, featuring rodeos, wrestling, and boxing.
