The Paso Robles appelation includes over 200 wineries, and is best known for its Zinfandels. The relatively flat land east of the city is home to many of the larger and better known wineries, including Eberle, Meridian, and Tobin James. The wineries in the scenic hills west of town tend to be smaller and relatively anonymous, with well-known Justin being a notable exception. The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance provides updated information on most of the wineries.
