Ormond Beach is a city in Volusia County, East Central Florida. Ormond Beach is adjacent to the north of Daytona Beach.

The plantation was built by Colonel Thomas H. Dummett in 1825 for sugar and rum but was abandoned during the Seminole Wars. Dirt parking is available on the northeast side of Old Dixie Hwy, and from there you can walk to the plantation, where the mill and wells are in partial ruins.

The Casements is the former home of John D. Rockefeller Sr. The City of Ormond Beach later bought the property and has turned it into a community center and museum.
