Orcas Village (sometimes called Orcas Landing or just Orcas) is on the southern tip of Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands of Washington State. The village is built around the island's only Washington State Ferries dock, making it the primary entrance to the largest of the San Juan Islands, as well as a pleasant place to wait for the outgoing ferry.
A wonderful classic restaurant overlooking the water and ferry terminal. Another great place to spend some time while waiting for the ferry.
Built 1904 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1982. Offers an amazing view of Harney Channel, Shaw Island and the ferry terminal.
Everything that a traveler needs for waiting in long ferry lines or hosting a picnic before exploring the island. Lots of locally sourced products.
The entire village is only two blocks, but it is perched on a steep hillside. The ferry loading zone is along the top, and everything else of interest is downhill towards the waterfront.
