A museum and conference center for Clay County. The star attraction is the Hjemkomst, a replica Viking ship built by a local family that actually sailed from Duluth across the Atlantic to Norway in 1982. There's also a full-scale replica of the wooden Scandinavian Stave Church in Vikøyri and a nice little park by the river.
The Hjemkomst Center is a multi-use facility in Moorhead, Minnesota, United States. Hjemkomst Center first opened in 1985 and serves as a home to Hjemkomst Viking Ship, Hopperstad Stave Church replica, quarterly museum exhibits, and county archives. In 2009, the Clay County Historical Society and the Heritage Hjemkomst Interpretive Center merged to form the Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County.

Surprisingly great art museum with a variety of thought-provoking artwork. The gift shop has high-quality local souvenirs.
It's a cool pool hall with lots of tables, and they also have darts and more with lots of stuff on the wall. Reasonable pricing in a cool environment. They also sell food and alcohol.
One of the original Dairy Queen locations. There's a statue of the world's largest Dilly Bar outside! And they can't produce certain ice creams for some reason. Open from March 1st to the end of October, and closed on Easter and July 4th.
Guided tours, antique furniture and tapestries enlighten visitors to Moorhead's first mansion, the home of Solomon Comstock.
