Logansport is a small town on the Louisiana-Texas state line in Northern Louisiana.

USA-Republic of Texas Marker
Stone boundary marker erected during Texas' 9 year period (1836-1845) as an independent republic. The stone marker is the last remaining boundary marker between the United States and the Republic of Texas. Small picnic area adjacent to marker with plenty of shade.
Riverfront park on the Sabine River. Excellent fishing for catfish and bass. Also picnic tables and playground for children.
Traditional Southern classics, such as hamburger steak and fried catfish. Daily lunch specials, which occasionally has an all-you-can-eat component. Large dessert menu. The inside has a lot of elements of vintage diners.
Tex—Mex food.
The only motel-type accommodation in the Logansport/Joaquin area. Offers free Wi-Fi, full cable, and continental breakfast. Rooms and beds are very spacious.
