Katonah is a hamlet in Westchester County in the state of New York. The hamlet of Katonah includes two National Historic Landmarks: Stepping Stones - Historic Home of Bill & Lois Wilson, where the respective cofounders of Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon Family Groups lived from 1941 until their deaths in 1971 and 1988, and the John Jay Homestead, the former home of John Jay, the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mediterranean villa set on an 80-acre estate. A festival and concert space host to numerous prominent performers and performances. One of New York's most elegant and well-known concert spaces, the spacious area is perhaps Katonah's primary cultural attraction. Take afternoon tea and tour or attend one of their evening concerts.
A world-renowned art museum, very close to the hamlet's center.
The last home of the United States' first Supreme Court Justice, John Jay, and a state historic site.
A classic drive-up ice cream stand. It has been there for many years and serves soft serve ice cream in many flavors. Great place to go with the family on those hot summer nights. It also has a variety of food if you so desire. There is only outdoor seating and no bathrooms. Line tends to get very long on weekend nights because there are only 2 order windows.
A small coffee cafe that serves many different types of coffee drinks as well as snacks. They have sandwiches for both lunch and breakfast. All the food is simple but delicious. It can be very crowded in the mornings and around lunch hour. There are a few tables inside but only very small ones. Don't bring a large crowd there unless you are taking your food to-go.
A Metro North Train Station travels from Grand Central, Manhattan through Pleasantville, Chappaqua, Mount Kisco, Bedford, Katonah, and Goldens Bridge. Having a car is advisable.
