This giant statue of a turtle, which is made from 2,000 used tire rims, is both a symbol of the Turtle Mountains and an eminent example of reuse.
More than 150,000 varieties of flowers adorn this 2,339-acre (947-hectare) botanical garden commemorating peace between the United States and Canada along the world's longest unfortified border. It showcases a large flower clock structure, a twin bell tower carillon and the Peace Chapel. It is also home to the International Music Camp, Friday night concerts in June and July, and interpretive center, floral clock and souvenir shop. RV-friendly campground.
