Dubois is an authentic Old West town in Northwest Wyoming in the Wind River valley. The area boasts activities like fly fishing, horseback riding, and wildlife viewing. The area also numerous historic dude or guest ranches.

The Dubois Museum shows the history of the Upper Wind River Valley. The museum offers interpretive programs, exhibits, multi-media presentations, and special events.
formerly National Bighorn Sheep Interpretative Center
An Interpretive Center dedicated to public education about the biology and habitat of the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep. The museum offers interpretive programs, exhibits, multi-media presentations, and special events.
Established in 2020, the 160,000-square-foot (15,000 m2) museum features more than 500 military vehicles and a significant firearms collection, along with other artifacts.
The oldest continuing art guild in Wyoming.
The Lone Buffalo

Welty's was first established in 1889 in a log cabin just outside of the town, by Frank A. Welty. The store was placed next to the homestead cabin of his father. In 1897 a general store was built in Dubois; Welty purchased the store in 1898 and moved his operation into town, dismantling the first building and appending it to the new store. The store is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is operated by the founder's grandson Frank A. Welty III.
Dubois is on the U.S. Route 26/287 concurrency and is the beginning of the Wyoming Centennial Scenic Byway. U.S. Route 26/287 cross the Continental Divide at Togwotee Pass.
